As Senate President, I have made it a priority to deliver meaningful savings and tax relief to Utah families. As prices have increased on groceries and everyday goods, it has been more important than ever to ensure families keep more of their hard-earned money because you know how to spend it better than government ever could.

Housing affordability is one of the most significant challenges facing our state. I worked to pass a law that provides up to $20,000 for first-time home buyers to use toward down payments, closing costs, or to buy down the mortgage rate. I will continue working on practical solutions so our kids can afford to build their lives here in Utah.
