Fighting for you. Why I’m running for re-election.

Serving as your State Senator has been the honor of my lifetime. When I first asked you for your vote, I promised to focus on securing a brighter future for our district and state.

In 2026, I will be running for re-election so I can continue delivering on the promises I have made to you. Over my time in office, that work has included:

  • The Creation of Highway 89: I made transportation and reducing commute times a priority. During my legislative service, I worked to advance Highway 89 to ensure families have a safer, faster option for commuting, allowing parents to be home in time for dinner and reducing traffic times.

  • Keeping Women’s Sports Fair: I have worked to ensure laws and oversight are in place to keep high school and collegiate women’s sports a women-only space. I have been a strong advocate for preserving the integrity of women’s athletics and ensuring competition remains fair and safe.

  • Tax Relief Packages for Utah Families: I have made it a priority to deliver meaningful savings and tax relief to Utah families. As prices have increased on groceries and everyday goods, it has been more important than ever to ensure families keep more of their hard-earned money because you know how to spend it better than government ever could.

  • Providing Support to First-Time Home Buyers: Housing affordability is one of the most significant challenges facing our neighborhood. I worked to pass a law that provides up to $20,000 for first-time home buyers to use toward down payments, closing costs, or to buy down the mortgage rate. I will continue working on practical solutions so our kids can afford to build their lives here in Utah.

  • Giving Parents Choice in Education: I have worked to ensure parents have the resources available to give their kids the education that best suits them. I have defended our “Utah Fits All” scholarship program and will continue to pursue options that give parents the ability to choose the education that works best for their children.

As the 2026 legislative session begins, I want you to know that I will do all I can to continue working hard for you and every family in our district. I have appreciated your support in the past, and I hope you are willing to support me in the future.

Sincerely,

Your State Senator & Neighbor
