Fighting for you. Why I’m running for re-election.
Serving as your State Senator has been one of the greatest honors of my life. When I first asked for your vote, I promised to deliver real results for our district and for our great state.
In 2026, I am running for re-election to continue delivering on the promises I made to you: safer roads, lower taxes, stronger schools, affordable housing, and common-sense policies that put families first. During my time in office, that work has included:
Championing Highway 89 Improvements: I made transportation and reducing commute times a priority. I worked to advance critical improvements to Highway 89, delivering safer roads, faster commutes, helping parents get home sooner and reducing traffic across our district.
Keeping Men out of Women’s Sports: I worked to ensure strong laws and oversight are in place to keep high school and collegiate women’s sports a women-only space. I have been a strong advocate for preserving the integrity of women’s athletics and ensuring competition remains fair and safe.
Delivering the Largest Tax Cuts in Utah History: For five consecutive years, we delivered meaningful tax relief to Utahns, the largest in our state’s history. Utah families are keeping more of their hard-earned money because we prioritized disciplined budgeting and responsible spending.
Delivered Support to First-Time Home Buyers: Housing affordability is one of the biggest challenges facing our community. I worked to pass a law that supports first-time homebuyers with down payments, cover closing costs or lowers their mortgage rates. I am focused on delivering practical solutions so our kids and grandchildren can afford to build their lives here in Utah.
Giving Parents Choice in Education: I championed the Utah Fits All scholarship program so parents can choose the education that fits their child’s unique needs. It replaced a one-size-fits-all system with real options that put parents back in control and expanded opportunity for every family. I will continue fighting to protect and expand education options, ensuring every parent has the freedom to choose what works best for their child.
Ending DEI in State Institutions: In our state, we prioritize individual merit and ability over race or gender. I led the effort to ensure our policies reflect those principles by eliminating unfair DEI practices.
Utah is strong and together we’ve delivered results that keep it that way by standing for faith, family, freedom and the principles that make our state the best in the nation.
I’m running for re-election because our work for Utah families is not finished. I will continue working tirelessly for you and every family in our district. I’m grateful for your support, and I respectfully ask for your vote so we can continue defending faith, family, freedom and the principles that keep Utah strong.
Sincerely,
Your State Senator & Neighbor
Stuart Adams
