Stuart has made transportation and reducing commute times a priority during his legislative service. One example is the work he did to improve Highway 89 by providing families with a safer, faster commuting option, cutting a significant amount of the driving time.

Stuart has worked to ensure laws and oversight are in place to keep women’s sports a women-only space. He has been a strong advocate for preserving the integrity of women’s athletics and ensuring competition remains fair and safe. 

Stuart has made it a priority to deliver meaningful savings and tax relief to Utah families by cutting taxes by over $1.4 billion. As prices have increased on groceries and everyday goods, it has been more important than ever to ensure families keep more of their hard-earned money because you know how to spend it better than the government ever could.

Stuart worked to ensure parents have the resources available to give their kids the education that best suits them. He defended our “Utah Fits All” scholarship program and he will continue to pursue options that expand parents ability to choose the education that best fits their children.

Stuart is fighting to keep Utah at the forefront of the energy revolution and ensure we have the power needed for emerging technologies. He is cutting red tape, unleashing American energy, delivering reliable power, lowering costs for families, protecting high-paying Utah jobs and keeping Utah energy independent for generations to come.

Stuart delivered landmark legislation that empowers parents and protects children online. The bill requires parental permission for children’s accounts and sets stronger safeguards for minors’ online activity. Stuart will continue working to ensure families, not corporations, guide what’s best for their children.

Stuart is a strong defender of Second Amendment rights. He helped pass Utah’s Constitutional Carry law, empowering law-abiding citizens to carry concealed firearms responsibly. He believes in protecting these rights while upholding public safety and the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution.

Stuart has always been pro-life and believes every life deserves protection. In the legislature, he has supported commonsense laws to defend the unborn and uphold Utah’s values. He remains committed to standing for life while supporting families and strengthening our communities.

Stuart delivered Utah’s most historic plan to secure water for generations to come. He worked to strengthen statewide water management, protect the Great Salt Lake, and provide families, farms, and communities with a reliable water supply. By prioritizing long-term planning, collaboration, and smart resource management, Stuart is ensuring Utahns inherit a state where rivers run, fields remain fertile, and water sustains our economy and way of life for decades to come.

Stuart delivered the legislative support that ensured Legacy Parkway was completed despite legal and federal challenges. He secured long-term transportation funding to maintain and improve Legacy, advance Highway 89 upgrades, and, under his leadership, move the West Davis Corridor from decades of planning to reality.

Protecting liberty means limiting the reach of government so individuals, families, and communities can make their own decisions. We must fiercely defend our constitutional rights because they safeguard citizens from overreach. But these liberties are not guaranteed; they are secured by the bravery of our armed forces.

As President of the Utah Senate and a member of the Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA) board, Stuart has made it a top priority to defend those who defend us. He is a steadfast champion of Hill Air Force Base, recognizing it not only as a vital economic engine for our district but as a crucial pillar of our national security. Stuart will continue working tirelessly to ensure the long-term success of the base and to support the service members, veterans, and military families in our community who sacrifice so much to keep America free.

As a small business owner, I know firsthand how government decisions affect jobs, investment, and opportunity. Utah consistently ranks as the best state in the nation for business, thanks to limited government and free markets. Our tax system should be simple, predictable, and low, creating a stable environment where businesses and families can thrive. I pledge to continue improving Utah’s tax system by reducing spending, cutting unnecessary regulation, and protecting taxpayers.

I believe strong families and thriving communities are built on freedom, hard work, and opportunity. My economic development focus is on creating an environment where families can succeed through tax policies that allow individuals and small businesses to keep more of what they earn. I am committed to responsible infrastructure development that supports commerce and strengthens local communities.
